A legendary night

A legendary night

The Roundhouse, the renowned venue in Camden, north London has been the stage for many a budding musician, but early this month it saw a different genre of emerging talent with the Wella Trend Vision Award UK & Ireland final. Hosted by BBC’s Reggie Yates, the inspirational evening held on 8th October, saw more than 800 hairdressers from across the country gather to rock the night away as the winner of this prestigious award was announced.

As well as the glittering award ceremony, guests were treated to a series of inspirational shows from the hottest hairdressers in the industry and Atherton Cox’s Desmond Murray was asked to be part of this stunning showcase. Assisted by SJ Hughes, who missed out on a place in the final but was thrilled to be involved in the award-winning icons show, the impressive collections saw a host of hairdressing legends pay tribute to the late Vidal Sassoon. And the who’s who of hairdressing was certainly there that night. Atherton Cox’s co-owners Paul Cox and Lisa Atherton, shared the top table with hairdressing idols Patrick Cameron and Annie Humphries, topping-off what was a truly amazing evening.
